This is the the perfect solution for those of us who don’t have the most space but need to have emergency crash pad capabilities for their apartment or home. Unlike the standard sofa sleeper, the Doc sofa bed offers not one but two sleeping solutions, complete with ladder and guardrail. How cool is that? These beds have another important feature that all guest sofa sleepers should have; the beds are comfortable but not too comfortable, this is a crucial feature to prevent impromptu guest from sneakily moving in ( you know, the guest that never leave syndrome ). Personally, I think they could’ve added more in this feature area - (maybe built in noise makers, or low voltage shock mattresses ?) because you never can be too safe when it comes to preventing guest from over staying their welcome, but that’s just me.

Creative Zen PMP (personal media player) will handle any format you give it. With a crisp, bright and appealing 4.3-inch widescreen format display.
It will come in 2 models, one sporting a 30 Gig hard drive for $399 and the other with a 60 Gig hard drive for $499. They can accept Compact Flash cards allowing you to display or save photos directly from the cards. You could also hook up your digital camera via USB to save and view photos. I think we’ll be seeing a lot more devices like the Creative Zen, giving us the multi media functionality of a laptop but in a more specialized platform. Now if they would also include a PDF reader, this would really complete the product.

We could soon all be reading our digital newspapers or magazines on the train. Look for the Creative Zen near the end of September 2006.

High pressure tents referred to as “Beckham Capsules” are all the rage in Japan. They supposedly help you to recover faster from fatigue.
According to New Launches:

The capsule works on the following principle: When the body is exposed to higher than normal atmospheric pressure, the amount of oxygen dissolved into the blood increases, and more oxygen is delivered to areas such as wounds that lack flowing blood, which helps the body repair these areas. The blood vessels also contract to avoid taking in too much oxygen, and this in turn helps to limit the swelling and pain of injuries.

The actual effect of high pressure on the body is unknown. Perhaps good rest and nutrition might be a better alternative until more substantiated data is available.
